The Local Information Volunteers are a group of trained volunteers who have given up their time in order to contribute to the development of the community. It has come to notice that some residents need help regarding several issues but do not seek help at all or are unsure which is the right organisation or agencies for various reasons. Some of the reasons could be that individuals do not know how where to get advice from. To avoid residents issues turning into crises, the Local Information Volunteers will be signposting residents with issues regarding debt and money, benefits, employment and housing. The volunteers have all been trained by Mrs. Sally Stevens from the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB).
If you would like to speak to one of the local volunteers, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and one of the team will arrange a time to meet with you.
Note: The local volunteers are not advisors. They can instead refer residents to organisations, individuals or councils that would offer them advice and help them to solving their issues.
